In 1996, Jon Beals started as a project manager for a local home building contractor in Leland, NC. With over 150+ homes built as a project manager and 20+ years of construction experience, he decided it was time to pursue his own dream - to form his own building company. He realized that every homeowner needs a simplified building process, one that is easy to understand. So, he decided to establish Meridean Signature Homes, Inc. in 2000 with only 1 employee. Jon is a passionate and dedicated builder,  inspired by his father, who was also in the building industry.   When the company was first founded, he drew all the plans for his customers by hand. Since then, he has pioneered a turnkey design-build process for custom residential homes in New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender counties. Through his experience, Jon brings quality management to the company's unique design-build construction process.
